Dissolve powder in 0,5 l hot water and pour through sieve. Use big pot with plenty of room for the material to move freely. Add 4 tablespoons of salt (do not use salt if dyeing silk). Otherwise the colour will dye unevenly. Wet out the textile in warm water and wash if needed. Heat until the pot is hot, but not boiling (ca 80 C, 60 C for artificial silk) stirring occasionally for evenness of colour. Keep it hot for about 1 hour. Let cool and wash in warm water to remove excess dye.
